mobileObjects AG has been developing solutions for internet-based communications and GPS positioning for vehicles and other mobile units since 2001. Functions range from commissioning, resource planning, optimization and control of, e.g., trucks or sales reps/customer service employees to detailed confirmation regarding the orders processed and routes traveled. The position of all vehicles can be determined at any time - thus making optimal resource planning easy for the dispatcher. Integrated navigation systems, e.g. Map&Guide, Navigon or TomTom help the driver to determine the route. An XML interface allows the data exchange between sector applications or standard applications such as CarLo®, produced by Soloplan. The solutions are ideal for all companies which plan, commission, monitor and control vehicles and employees.

All programs use the most modern GPS positioning and navigation, GSM/GPRS transmission technology and internet technology. In the head office, a PC workstation with internet access is used to exchange data via GSM/GPRS with the individual vehicles. In the vehicle, a mobile smart phone (Pocket PC) with Microsoft Pocket PC operating system is all that is required.
